Intensive Cardiac Care Unit

BMPMC Hospital & Research Centre has a specialized Intensive Cardiac Care Unit (ICCU).  This Unit is equipped with all the necessary monitoring systems that are vital in managing high risk patients.  In order to help medical students in grasping and learning fundamental cardiac treatment & care principles, additional equipments like the Cardiac Resuscitation Simulator have been installed within the Unit.  TMT facility available to assess patients at risk of high IHD.

Surgical Gastroenterology

The Department of Gastroenterology is equipped with the latest generation of pentax Video Endoscopes, Making use of such high tech equipments, the department performs specialized procedures such as Sclerotherapy,  Band Ligation Polypectomy and Dilation: the Department performs almost 1200 procedures (diagnostic & therapeutic) per year.  Undergraduate and post graduate students are trained here.

Specialty also available in Geriatrics.

Surgical Gastroenterologist performs procedures like Laparoscopic fundoplication, colectomy, hernia repair, Open procedures like whipple procedure, Liver resection, Gastroctomy with dissection.

In addition to this patient attending hospital are admitted and treated under different units of various specialty free of cost.
