Eligibility for Admission

Bachelors

       Must be  graduates with B.A. or B.Sc. and shall have studied any one of the languages and two of the three electives optionals) specified below:

n   Languages :  English, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, Sanskrit

n   Electives (Optionals) : Physics,  Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, History, Political Science, 

      Sociology, Geography, Economics, English, Kannada, Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit

n   All candidates should have obtained a minimum  of 50% of marks in aggregate of all the three  years of    

      degree including electives and languages, excluding internal assessment marks and class examination

       marks.

n   But Sc/ST/Cat-I/Physically handicapped candidates should have obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in

      aggregate of all three  years of  degree  including electives  and languages excluding internal and class

      examination marks.

n   Candidates of Universities other than Karnatak University should obtain eligibility certificate from the

      Registrar, Karnatak University, Dharwad directly.

Masters

n   55% in B.Ed. - G.M.

n   55% in B.Ed. - SC/ST/Cat-I

n   Admission on the basis of merit.
