and engineer our imagination. The BLDE Association realised the growing
needs of technical education in this
region and started the College
of Engineering and Technology in 1980 with an intake of 145 students
for Civil, Electrical and Mechanical
branches. In 1995, this College
was renamed as Vachana Pitamaha Dr. P.G.Halakatti College of Engineering
and Technology. Two decades hence,
this institution is proud to
be regarded as one amongst the most professional and well-equipped
Engineering colleges in Karnataka offering nine under-graduate
courses and two post-graduate courses.

of Engineers, India, IEEE and others. Laboratories and workshop facilities
also functioning as technical hobby centers for
students
