Association is pioneer educational organization in the northern part
of Karnataka and runs more than seventy five educational institutions
in almost all the faculties of education.
The Diploma College of
Physical Education is one of them. Certificate course in Physical
Education was started in the year 1980 with the aim of implementing
instructions in Physical Education.
At preset this
college is one of the best colleges in the northern part of Karnataka
with an intake of 60 students.
The college imparts
excellent teaching, coaching, and training in different games and
sports and conducts seminars, workshops, project meets, camps, picnics
and tours for the trainees.
Qualified teachers,
vast playground, good Library, various Laboratories, own College
building are the hallmarks of the college.
From 2005 onwards this
course was converted to two year Diploma in Physical Education
course.
During it’s dedicated
service of more than 25 years the college has produced many
outstanding Physical Education Teachers who are working at various
parts of our state.
Now
B.L.D.E. Association proposes to start a new B.P.Ed. College with an
intake of 50 students. This proposed college has already received
N.O.C. from the Karnataka Government. Now we are waiting for the NCTE
teams visit for their inspection and approval.
