M.B.A

The students aspiring for higher education in the same area are served through M.B.A (Master of Business Administration ) which is two year, 4 semester full time P.G course. The course was introduced in the year 1998.


PGD-IRPM (Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management)

A careful analysis of the requirements of the working executives was made and some useful one year part time courses were introduced like PGD-IRPM (Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management) The course was introduced in the year 1977.

PGD- MSM (Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing and Sales Management)

To help students to understand the real work culture and practical application of the knowledge being gained, the Industrial visits are arranged to various industries regularly.

To expose the students to the real life working at the Industries and business two months of inplant training is made a compulsory part of regular curriculum.

Students completing the management course (MBA) successfully are given an opportunity to attend the Interviews conducted by various leading companies. 100% placement opportunities were provided to the students of previous batches. To support the placement activities and for the convenience of industries Placement Brochures are printed and distributed.

The department, to support the existing students invite the past students for alumni meet. The interction and exchange of ideas with the past students who are in corporate world enlighten and guide the present students in the right direction.

Management meets at various levels have been conducted and attended by different courses to ensure that the exchange of knowledge, skills and ideas take place regularly among the students. In this regard sincere efforts have been made to organize the management meet known as “Magciana”.

Successful execution of Talent and skills is the final test of the efforts put in by the academicians. The practical approach of the management courses have given enough encouragement and training to the young talent to become Entrepreneurs and set up their own Industry and Business.

The department of management has entered into MOU with various leading Industries like HDFC, ICICI, TATA info media, BPL, LG etc.. and institutes for the benefit of the students as well as the Teaching Faculty. This has given an added advantage to the management courses.

To develop a common understanding amongst the teaching fraternity various interactive workshops (more then 10) have been arranged by KUD, KIMS out of which few were hosted by us. The objectives and purpose of the workshops was to highlight the teaching pedagogy and syllabus review. Timely workshops have enriched the teaching faculties of various institutes. Efforts have been put in by both MBA and BBA courses in this regard.
